She pivoted. She moved from a town of 5,000 people in Northwest Canada to Atlanta. She started college as a mature student with a father who had a 7th grade education and a mother who had a 12th grade education. No coaching. No roadmap. She figured it out on her own.
Today Lori Kaczynski is the Senior Vice President and Chief Audit, Risk, and Compliance Officer at Graphic Packaging International, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Atlanta. She leads the company's global internal audit, compliance, and enterprise risk management functions.
